Award winning, spectacular tranquil location, surrounded by world class attractions. Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages lie in the ancient hamlet of Cilybebyll, known to have been settled since the Bronze Age and thought to have been where the Romans at Neath spent leisure time.

The accommodation

The cottages are situated on opposite sides of a courtyard and were originally outbuildings of the Plas Cilybebyll Estate, which has a recorded history back to the 14th Century.

The location

High hills of pennant sandstone rise to over a thousand feet behind the cottages, providing a striking background to an idyllic scene.

Over a hundred acres of surrounding farmland includes beautiful oak woodland, mountain streams and hillside areas with wonderful views of Swansea Bay and Brecon Beacons National Park.

The cottages are 5 miles from the M4 and are in a central location, ideal for touring South Wales.

Our area

Within easy reach are the seaside city of Swansea, Cardiff - the capital of Wales, Gower Peninsula's sandy beaches, Brecon Beacons National Park, Pemrokeshire Coast National Park and The Vale of Neath.
