Barafundle Barns, originally part of West Trewent Farm, were converted in 2005 to provide luxury self catering holiday accommodation. We are situated between the beautiful harbour town of Tenby and the historic town of Pembroke. Stackpole village a mile away, has a good country pub with an excellent restaurant and local ale.
Barafundle Barns are an ideal base for a holiday in glorious Pembrokeshire. Whether you are watching the seals and dolphins along our beautiful coast path, walking in the bluebell woods, enjoying the nightlife in Tenby, or simply lazing on the beach, Greenala Barn and Potato Barn are the perfect places to stay, all year round.
Greenala Barn: sleeps 8, has two double bedrooms with en-suite showers; one double bedroom and a twin room with french doors out to the garden. The bathroom has a wc wash hand basin, bidet and bath; there is also a separate wc. The large open plan living area has a wood burning stove and french doors out to the sunny terrace and gardens.
There is a large garden with a pond (can be fenced if required); also ample parking for cars and boats.
Potato Barn: sleeps 6, has a double bedroom with french doors out to the garden, a further double bedroom next to the bathroom and a twin loft room. There is a second wc and shower room, a large open plan living area with a wood burning stove and french doors leading onto the south facing terrace. There are private gardens at the front and rear of the property and parking for two cars.
Potato Barn and Greenala Barn are semi-detached. They are quite separate or can be linked along the front terrace. They have there own gated entrances, parking and gardens. Both barns have under-floor central heating and are fully equipped with dishwasher electric fan oven halogen hob, washing machine/dryer, freezer, microwave oven, fridge, tv, dvd player and radio cd player.
Cotton bed-linen and towels are provided. Fuel, logs and electricity are included. Pets by arrangement. Sorry no smoking in the barns.
Stackpole Quay and tearooms and the stunning Barafundle Bay, both owned by the National Trust are nearby. The Stackpole estate has beautiful woods to walk through, the famous Bosherston Lily Ponds and Broadhaven Beach. Freshwater East, a mile away, has a large sandy beach ideal for young children, a public slipway for boat launching and a water sports centre.
The Stackpole Inn, providing excellent pub restaurant food, is a mile away. Stackpole Quay Tearooms, also a mile away, offers lovely lunches, ice creams, and local crab and mussels. The Freshwater Inn, 2 miles away, offers good pub grub.
