The Old Smithy is a traditional old stone country house built in around 1850, and a former blacksmiths forge. Standing in one and a half acres of land, it is surrounded by mature trees with views over local farmland.

It is situated alongside the National Park coastal footpath and is within easy reach of the stunning sheer limestone cliffs of stack rocks and the green bridge of Wales, where thousands of nesting sea birds can be seen.

The Old Smithy is surrounded by a wonderful choice of beaches, Broadhaven and also Freshwater West - Pembrokeshire's premier surfing beach, and the beautiful Barafundle Bay, recently voted Britain's most beautiful beach.

The village of Bosherston and the lily ponds are just a short drive of 5 minutes away.

The bedrooms are spacious with king size beds, tv and all tea and coffee making facilities.

The stylish bathroom has an old fashioned cast iron roll top bath and a marble wash stand.

The comfortable guest sitting room has a woodburning style stove which makes the room warm and cosy during off season months.

We have a good reputation for satisfying wholesome breakfasts made from fresh local produce.

We offer luggage transfers and pick-ups for coast-path walkers who might like to stay from 1 to 3 nights with us. Evening meals are also available by arrangement.

At the Old Smithy you can be sure of a warm and friendly welcome.
