White Gate Caravan Park is a small park amidst peaceful surroundings, yet only 5 minutes walk from the beach at Wiseman's Bridge. Saundersfoot is only one mile away, with its fine beaches and harbour, and can be reached along an interesting coastal path through the cliffs.
The owners, John and Charlotte, clean and maintain the caravans to a very high standard. This is a small family business and our aim is to create a friendly atmosphere and should you decide to book with us, we feel sure that you will have an enjoyable holiday. Our home is on the park so we are always on hand should there be any problems, or just to give directions.
Our park is small and well cared for, with only eight caravans. Each caravan has an allocated parking space.
The park is set in a wooded valley, abundant in wild life and wild flowers, therefore ideal for both walkers and nature lovers. In spring the area is alive with birds nesting and you may be lucky enough to see the buzzards soaring overhead.
Each caravan has its own private patio area with table and chairs that are not overlooked by other holiday makers. All the caravans are well away from access to the road, thus making it safe for children.
The caravans have a large master bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds, sleeping four in comfort. We are able to convert one of the single beds into a cot or for a tiny baby exchange a single bed for a travel cot.
Our prices are very competitive as we just offer peace and quiet and do not charge for facilities you may not require. The park is a relaxing holiday for both young families and older people alike, many of our customers return year after year.
We are ideally positioned only a five minute, level walk to the nearest beach, shop and inn. From Wisemans Bridge an interesting coastal path leads through the cliffs to Saundersfoot, one mile away, a delightful village with a pretty harbour from which boat and fishing trips may be taken. Further along the coast is Tenby that has a choice of four sheltered, sandy beaches.
The Monks of Caldey welcome visitors to their island and boats regularly leave from Tenby harbour. In the other direction Amroth is one mile away and may be reached along the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Beyond Amroth are Pendine Sands and Laugharne, where Dylan Thomas wrote his great works.
No large single sex groups are allowed. This is due to the quiet atmosphere of the park.
Sorry no pets are allowed.
