Close to the Snowdonia National Park, these two exceptional cottages provide spacious, attractive and luxuriously comfortable accommodation as well as stunning views over beautiful countryside. Two converted barns are situated near the owners farmhouse. Within easy driving distance there is a vast choice of activities including white water rafting, excellent walking, riding, quad biking and fishing.
Ysgubor - sleeps 2 to 6
This cottage has a large hall, well equipped fitted kitchen/dining room leading to sitting room, and second sitting room with electric wood burner effect stove. There is a separate wc.
On the first floor is a double bedroom and bunk bedded room, both with access to bathroom/wc with separate shower cubicle, and a twin bedded room with en-suite shower room with wc.
Y Beudy - sleeps 2 to 5
Dining area, sitting room with oil wood burner effect fire and doors to garden.
It has three bedrooms: a double with en-suite shower room/WC, a twin and a single. Also bathroom/wc with separate shower cubicle.
Both properties have wifi internet, electric and full oil central heating, television, dvd player, radio cassette CD player, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, automatic washing machine, hairdryer and patio with garden furniture. Bed linen and towels are provided,
Tea towels, dish cloths, dishwasher tablets, bin liners, two toilet rolls per bathroom provided. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and home made cakes on arrival.
There is ample space for parking. Credit cards accepted. Sorry, no pets.
The beautiful beaches of Aberdovey are within easy reach for a day at the seaside. Pub two thirds of a mile, shops 3 miles. Pistyll Rhaeadr, the highest waterfall in Wales. Dolanog 3 miles, with an ideal spot for paddling or Glyndwr's Way. Out door activities. Lake Vyrnwy. A beautiful spot to visit with access to water sports from family Canadian Canoeing to sailing or perfect for bird watching. Cycles around the areas woodland can be hired from Artisans Cycle and Tandem Hire opposite the Visitor Centre. A wide range of outdoor pursuits. Places to visit: Powis Castle. Llanfair and Welshpool Railway. Powysland Museum (Welshpool). Livestock market. Every Monday Europe's largest sheep auction starts from until late (usually after well worth a visit just to see the auctioning.
