Little Barn

Built 300 years ago, from stone and slate, in the rural village of Welsh St Donats, Little Barn has been tastefully modernized to provides very comfortable contemporary accommodation with convenient parking outside the front door. At one time used by the Village Blacksmith Little Barn now provides an excellent base for a visit to Vale of Glamorgan, to Cardiff, Capital of Wales, or from which to explore South Wales.

The accommodation

The cottage is very well equipped for your comfort.

Little Barn Cottage has wifi internet access, full central heating, washer-dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, grill, TV with Freeview and a DVD Player. Our welcome pack includes milk, tea, coffee, cereal, bread, fruit squash and fruit. Fresh linen and towels are provided.

The bedroom has twin beds which can be converted to form a super king sized bed. In the lounge there is a three seater leather sofa and also a second sofa.

Little Barn is situated close to Forge Cottage, and whilst it does provide privacy we are usually available to provide information or help if required.

The location

The cottage is in the Vale of Glamorgan village of Welsh St Donats, only two and a quarter miles from Cowbridge, which has a good variety of places to eat and shops including Waitrose, and about 25 minutes' drive from central Cardiff which has all the facilities of a Capital City. There is ready access from and to M4 junction 34 and from there to all South Wales.
