Tremanhire Cottage in Solva is an attractive 19th Century property set in a charming terrace in this picturesque fishing village. It is tucked away along a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking fields to the sea towards the islands of Skomer and Skokolm.
The cottage is just a few metres away from a footpath that leads onto the Pembrokeshire coastal path and down to the harbour and beach. The harbour, with its many yachts and boats, has a sandy beach at low tide.
The cottage is comfortable and spacious and can sleep up to 6 in two double rooms and two singles. A cot is also available.
There are night storage heaters throughout and a wood-burning stove in the sitting room. There is a television, WiFi, DVD player, a washing machine/dryer and a kitchen/dining room equipped with a microwave oven as well as a conventional one.
Behind the cottage is a small yard and the main garden, with lots of room for children to play is close by.
Solva itself is one of the prettiest villages in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is just 6 miles from the small cathedral city of St. Davids. There are great opportunities for bird and seal watching and the local beaches are sandy. One of the best is Whitesands which has a European blue flag for cleanliness and at Newgale there is good surfing on a spectacular mile beach.
