You can explore the Beacons straight from the front door: our farmland, which guests are welcome to explore, adjoins the open land of the National Park. There's plenty to see and do within easy reach of Penrhadw Farm. Travel on the Brecon Mountain Railway, visit the spectacular Dan-yr-Ogof caves, or explore Britain's industrial heritage at Blaenavon.
Bed and breakfast - We have ten luxurious bedrooms including singles, twins and doubles. All are equipped to a high standard, with en-suite bath and shower room, tea and coffee tray, television and trouser press. Also available for the use of residents is our spacious lounge which has a TV and video. Start your day with our renowned hearty Welsh breakfast. A vegetarian option is also available, and we can cater for special diets at breakfast and dinner. Wifi internet access in the main building.
Self catering - Harris Cottage, which accommodates up to eight in two double rooms, with ensuite master bedroom large enough for family of four, and a twin plus second bathroom and ground floor a private setting with own grounds. Commanding views over the Pontsarn valley, with the Brecon Mountain Railway running along the hillside.
Outside is a landscaped garden where you can relax on sunny days, and plentiful parking space too. Inside, the cottage is exceptionally spacious and well equipped.
Downstairs is a large kitchen diner with an oil fired twin-oven Aga - the queen of cooking appliances - and fitted units with plenty of workspace. A dishwasher, microwave oven and washing machine are also provided. The lounge has comfortable sofas and armchairs, and there is a teletext TV and video. Off the central hallway is a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Upstairs are three bedrooms - one twin and two doubles. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower/bathroom, and there is second shower/bathroom on the landing.

Two 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottages in the grounds of Penrhadw, used as family suites with breakfast at the farm dining from £35 per person per night including breakfast. Plus Harris Cottage nearby also let as self catering or as cottage suite with full breakfast at Penrhadw. When let as suites the cottages can double up as superior bunkhouse accommodation, ideal for the increasing numbers of cyclists in the area.
We are within 5 miles of the foot of Crybin and Penyfan in the Brecon Beacons mountain range. Cycle track 8 passes through the village for all-terrain and touring cycling.
Getting here is easy - and excellent road links make Penrhadw Farm the ideal base for exploring Mid and South Wales.
