The accommodation comprises 6 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms sleeping up to 13 persons, plus 2 little ones in a cot/travel cot.
The accommodation downstairs
The fabulous newly fitted dining kitchen has a range of wall and base units and includes a fridge freezer, gas range cooker (8 rings, 2 large ovens and grill), dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster etc, and comes fully equipped with cutlery, utensils, ovenware, crockery, glasses and pans, etc.
There are two lounges: the front lounge is truly beautiful with leather sofas seating up to 8, an inglenook fireplace and gas woodburner effect stove, and double french windows into the private rear garden. It has a large flatscreen tv, dvd player, ipod docking station, and bookcase, and is ideal for guests who want to relax in front of a roaring fire. The rear lounge has a lovely wooden floor, with an array of sofas seating another 9 people comfortably. It also has a large flatscreen TV and DVD player, and enjoys the late afternoon sun coming through the patio doors into the garden in the evening.
Downstairs: on the ground floor there is a twin en-suite room (two single beds) with its own flatscreen tv, and a separate suite of rooms comprising one double bedroom with flatscreen tv (and space for a cot or travel cot), which leads into another bedroom comprising a double bed with single bunk over the top. The en-suite is reached through this second bedroom.
Upstairs: on the first floor is a double en-suite room with its own flatscreen tv (and space for a cot or travel cot), and a further suite of rooms comprising a double bedroom with flatscreen tv, and a further bedroom with a set of bunk beds and flatscreen tv. The en-suite for these bedrooms is at the end of the suite of rooms.
All en-suites have wc, wash hand basin, and a walk in shower.
There is a fully enclosed private rear garden with direct access from the dining kitchen, or the front and rear lounges. Benefiting from the sun all day long, the garden has a patio area with picnic tables and benches to seat 14, a large enclosed lawn area, with plenty of well established shrubs and flower borders. Of course there is that all important large gas barbecue to enjoy lazy afternoons and wonderful al-fresco evenings with family and friends, and for those who prefer to play more adventurous games like rounders, or football, there is direct access to a further 1.5 acres where you can run around to your heart's content.
Please note: pets are may have full use of the enclosed rear garden, but are prohibited from both the formal front gardens and the 1.5 acres of play area.
Guests have ample car parking space, and also the facility to store a boat or two if required (please indicate at booking if you wish to store a boat during your stay).
All electricity and gas (subject to fair use policy), bedding, pillows, duvets and sheets are included in the price. Towels are provided at a cost of £4 per person (bath towel, hand towel, and face cloth).
