Saltern Holiday Park

Saltern Caravan Park is just a short walk of 350 metres to the old town walls which surround the town centre. Tenby's coach Park and railway station are also within easy walking distance.

There are 50 static caravans on the park. Our small launderette is open from Whitsun until the end of September, and just outside the park is a small grocery shop and petrol station.

Our caravans have one to two bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 2 adults and 2 small children (including babies in cots) and range in size from 22ft x 10ft to 28ft by 10ft. All have fully equipped kitchens, gas fire in lounge, TV and DVD player. Shower room with wash hand basin and wc. Electric panel heating in bedrooms. Please note that we supply pillows and duvets but not personal linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillow slips, towels, table linen etc).

We cater for families with young children and mature couples only and cannot therefore accept bookings from all male or all female parties, teenagers, under 30s or 'party' groups.

Tenby has an 18 hole championship golf course said to be one of the finest in Wales. The annual Tenby Golf Week is held during the first week in June.

Good fishing is to be found off the coast of Tenby and the neighbouring village of Saundersfoot and also around the island of Caldey. Fishing trips can be arranged from the harbour. Windsurfing is also popular in Tenby and nearby Saundersfoot.

There are several riding stables in the area, and the leisure centre with its indoor heated swimming pool is about 500 yards from the entrance to Saltern.
