Dating from 1650 with later additions, The Gro was formerly The Gro Vicarage and Llanllwchaian Vicarage. Approched by a 100 metre drive, it stands in an gardens of over an acre, surrounded by countryside, a mile to the north of the centre of Newtown, Powys.
The accommodation
The Gro offers a choice of twin and double rooms. All have drinks making facilities and en-suite bathrooms with power showers.
Guests are welcome to use the comfortable lounge. Wireless internet access is available free of charge on the ground floor.
