Original fisherman's cottage on the quay side with private courtyard within the famous fortified town walls. Beautifully furnished and equipped, wi-fi, central heating and log fire for all seasons.

On the ancient quayside where the fishermen sit and mend their nets, a stone's throw from Conwy Castle and the smallest house in Great Britain, protected by the fortified town walls of Conwy, Harbour Cottage is an original Victorian fisherman's cottage and is a perfect retreat for up to three guests. Parking for 8 vehicles outside the front door but are not allocated.

The accommodation

Harbour cottage has a double bedroom with stunning harbour views and a small single with a French bed and views of the courtyard hugged by the historic walls. Modern bathroom with shower.

Lounge with wood burning stove and dining area. LCD TV with Freeview Sky, DVD, WiFi and a well stocked bookcase for you to enjoy.

The kitchen is well equipped for your stay, but why cook when you are within walking distance of some of the best restaurants cafes and pubs. Harbour cottage has a private courtyard perfect for alfresco dining and barbecues.

Meander the narrow cobbled streets or walk the ancient walls and survey the mountain ranges and coast line. At night from your prestigious position you can see the twinkling lights of the yachts in the harbour and the wonderfully illuminated Conwy Castle.

Step outside the door of the cottage for hill and coastal mountain walks and bike trails or for the less mobile hop onto the open-top sight-seeing bus.

The location

From this central location you are a short drive to Snowdonia National Park and all of its attractions. Nearer to home you have the Victorian sea side town of Llandudno and Betws-y-Coed with its famous falls and woodland walks. The renowned Bodnant Gardens are a splendid all year round attraction. RSPB Nature Reserve approx 1 mile. See the Welsh ponies' running wild on the Sychnant Pass.
