Cwm Edw is a very comfortable first floor apartment converted from the granary of a former nineteenth century drovers' pub in a small, peaceful rural hamlet.
The accommodation
It has two bedrooms, a double and a twin, an open-plan living room with dining and kitchen areas and a bathroom with bath and shower.
The kitchen has a full sized cooker, microwave, a fridge with icebox and plenty of smaller equipment. There is a tv, cd player, radio and dvd player.
Outside is a balcony with steps down to a beautiful riverside garden and the adjacent fields and woodland. The river is shallow and gently flowing in the summer - a lovely place for children - and is a haven for all kinds of wildlife. An Australian visitor listed 37 different birds seen at Cwm Edw in one week. The river bank is a designated SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest). There is also a small wildlife pond.
All towels and bedding are provided as well as lots of unexpected extras.
There are plenty of brochures, books and local maps. Parking is immediately outside.
