Tan Y Bryn offers two delightful coastal cottages less than a mile from the charming hamlet of Church Bay. Fully equipped and beautifully furnished, each has its own private garden and patio looking out over the extensive grounds of some three and a half acres. The cottages are connected by locking interconnecting doors allowing them to be used as one large property for parties of up to eight

The accommodation

The beautifully fitted kitchens have integrated appliances including washing machine, fridge freezer and dishwasher together with an electric oven and hob, microwave and coffee maker.

The living dining areas of each cottage are comfortably furnished with French doors onto the patio and garden. The cottages are centrally heated throughout with extra warmth for chilly nights supplied by a Woodburner in the lounge.

Tan y Bryn offers two large double bedrooms and a modern bathroom in each property with towels and fresh linen provided. Cottage 1 has a bath with in-bath shower, and cottage 2 has a wet room but no bath. This property may suit those with limited mobility as it has a ramp access into the living room. There is a small step into the sleeping and bathing areas

The location

The cottages enjoy spectacular sea views and a quiet rural location in the village of Rhydwyn with easy access to the Anglesey coastal path. There is ample parking for guests and even space for a trailer for those wishing to bring a jet ski or speed boat with them. Rhydwyn lies just off the A5025 with easy road access from the A55.

We are fortunate despite our rural location to have two excellent eateries on our doorstep. The Lobster Pot in Church Bay serves delicious seafood all year round while the Black Lion Pub less than a mile away in Llanfaethlu serves delicious local meat and fish.

Tan y Bryn is family owned and we have lived in North Wales for almost 40 years - so we are on hand for any tips or information about the local area. Rhydwyn is a fantastic base from which to explore this beautiful island with glorious beaches and historic attractions within a short drive from the property. We do hope you will come and visit.
