Lliwdy Lodge
Lliwdy Lodge is a 19th Century grade 2 listed former lodge house within the Snowdonia National Park. It offers accommodation for up to four adults [and babies welcome too] in two traditional, inter-connecting, first-floor bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, the other with twin beds.
There is a cosy sitting room with a woodburning stove, a separate dining area and newly-fitted galley kitchen, with fridge/freezer and a modern oil-fired Rayburn Heatranger cooker, which also provides the central heating.
The cottage has a small laundry area with a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board.
The downstairs bathroom has a toilet, wash basin and bath.
There are slate or polished wood floors throughout the cottage.
Outside, a verandah to two sides of the property means children can play under cover even in inclement weather. There is a large natural garden and wooden garden furniture is provided for you to enjoy alfresco meals.
There is parking space for 2+ cars.
Steep, narrow stairs to the first floor make this property unsuitable for the infirm.
We regret that pets are not accepted and we ask that guests refrain from smoking inside the cottage.
Prices include all heating, including logs, bed-linen and towels. Highchair and cot available free on request. Baby-sitting may be possible.
Please note that the change-over day is SATURDAY.
An ideal base for visiting the beaches at Aberdovey or for exploring the Cader Idris area and the southern Snowdonia peaks. The Centre for Alternative Technology is within walking distance and not to be missed.
