The substantial stone remains of a settlement, perhaps a sheepfold and related dwelling or farmstead, below the moorland peak of Esgair Cerrig (490m) in the upper valley of the River Camddwr. This very isolated spot deep in the interior of Wales is by a minor road which links mid and west Wales, and close to a junction with a road leading south into Carmarthenshire.
