The A4109 at Seven Sisters, near Neath, runs past this row of single storey cottages known as Brick Row. Dating from 1871, these and Church Road were the first houses in the new village - named by mine owner David Bevan after his seven daughters - which were built to accommodate the first workers at the Seven Sisters colliery.
