The Carmarthenshire village of Myddfai is built around the churchyard of St Michael's, a solid stone building which dates from the 13th Century, with an additional aisle added in the 15th Century. Among its noteworthy features are the five huge arches which run the length of the church, and its medieval wagon vaulted roof. The parish registers held here date from 1653.
