Skenfrith

The remains of the early 13th Century Skenfrith Castle, stand where the original fortifications were built in about 1075. The castle, which dominates this small Monmouthshire village, is now owned by the National Trust, and open to the public at any time, for no charge. For more info see NT: Skenfrith Castle.
