Our self catering cottages have been converted from the traditional farm outbuildings at Lamphey Park. The cottages provide comfortable and well furnished accommodation in a quiet rural setting, close to the South Pembrokeshire coast.

St Teilo's Cottage (Sleeps 2)

St Teilo's Cottage is the smallest of our cottages It provides comfy accommodation for a couple and has space for an additional child's bed

Downstairs. The living area has large double doors which open out onto the courtyard making it wondrously light and airy in the summer. The sitting area is furnished with a comfortable sofa, and coffee table. The flat screen television is equipped with freeview and a DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen includes a Belling ceramic hob cooker, microwave and a washing machine.

Upstairs. The staircase leads upstairs to a spacious bedroom which is furnished with a double bed and attractive pine furniture. It has a high coved ceiling and exposed beams. There is plenty of room for an additional child's bed. The bedroom has an en-suite shower. The rear entrance provides access to the carpark.

The Bakehouse (Sleeps 5)

The old bakehouse which is part of the original house has been converted into a spacious two bedroom cottage which sleeps five in comfort. It has a magnificent fireplace with a magnificent faggot oven for baking bread and a clay oven for cooking meat.

The Bakehouse is suitable for guests with mobility problems.

Downstairs, the living area is accessed by double doors from the courtyard. It is open to the roof and is dominated by great fireplace. It is furnished with leather sofas, coffee table and digital TV with DVD. An old wash-copper has been retained to provide an attractive planting feature. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and attractive pine furniture and there is ample space for an additional child's bed or cot if required. The family bathroom has a shower-bath. The separate kitchen / diner is fully equipped with built-in cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. A wooden staircase leads to a balcony overlooking the living area.

Upstairs, there is a large mezzanine bedroom with three full sized cabin beds trucked under the roof eaves. It has an en-suite toilet with wash hand basin. The rear entrance provides access to the carparking area in the old walled garden and to a small garden and patio area.

St Twinnell’s Cottage (Sleeps 7 - 8)

St Twinnell’s is an exceptionally large three bedroom cottage which was originally the stables. It will accommodate a large family or two families wishing to share.

Downstairs. The hallway is accessed via double doors from the courtyard. Opening off the hallway is a cloakroom with toilet and wash-hand basin and a large wet room shower – ideal for hosing down children on return from the beach. The spacious living are is furnished with leather sofas, coffee table and TV with freeview and DVD player. The dining area will seat eight. The kitchen are is fully equipped with a range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and separate dryer.

Upstairs, there are three large bedrooms and a bathroom. The upstairs landing has a rear door providing access to the car parking in the walled garden. All the bedrooms are furnished with attractive pine furniture. Bedroom 1 has twin single beds. Bedroom 2 has a twin single beds. Bedroom 3 has a double bed Each of the bedrooms has ample space for an additional child’s bed or cot, which can be provided if required.

Outside

Outside, the courtyard has paved and grassed areas and a barbecue and picnic table are provided. (The picnic table is made from the original teak roof trusses removed from the stables). The courtyard is kept free of vehicles and is safe for children. Car parking is provided in the old walled garden behind the cottages.

Facilities

All cottages are double glazed, fully centrally heated and, are warm and comfortable in all seasons. Heating and domestic hot water are provided by an eco-friendly ground source heat pump system. There are no extra charges for electricity, heating or any other utility services.

We provide all bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen linen.

All cottages have washing machines or washer / dryers, together with an iron and ironing board.

All cottages have digital flat screen tvs with Freeview and DVD players.

Outside in the courtyard there are picnic tables, and a barbecue is available.

Pets

We welcome well behaved dogs but expect owners to be responsible for their pets at all times (There are sheep at Lamphey Park and other farm animals may be kept on the surrounding land). Guests should bring appropriate bedding for their pets, and should ensure that the cottages remain clean for following guests.

Arrival and Departure

Our normal changeover day is Saturday. The cottages are ready for guests by 4pm although it is possible to arrive earlier to drop bags, etc. Cottage keys may be collected from the main house. We ask guests to vacate the cottages by 10am on the day of departure to allow the cottages to be prepared for the next guests.

Access Statement

Parking for guests with special access needs can be provided at the end of the courtyard and there is level access to the cottages. All the cottages have double doors providing easy access. The Bakehouse has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom with ample space for a wheel chair. There is a single step down to the kitchen. St Twinnell's Cottage has a downstairs toilet and a large wetroom shower.
