Furzeholm is an attractive purpose-built holiday chalet on a small development within 10 minutes' walk of Nolton Haven beach.

The accommodation

The accommodation is spacious, comprising a lounge/diner/kitchen area, two bedrooms and a bathroom and is intended for four people. One bedroom has a 4'6" double bed; the other has two 3' single beds. The lounge area has a three seater settee, two arm chairs, coffee table, tv with Freesat, a dvd player with a selection of family dvds and a Playstation. Books and local information leaflets are provided.

The large windows have vertical blinds and the bungalow is carpeted dining area has seating for four people and is fully equipped with crockery and cutlery, whilst the kitchen area has adequate cooking utensils.

Cooking is by electric cooker or microwave oven, and there is a refrigerator, electric kettle, and bathroom has a large shower enclosure with electric shower, wash basin and toilet, and has an electric shaving point, heater and extractor fan.

Room heating is by electric storage heaters and a convector heater in the main living area. There is a balcony at the front and a patio at the rear, giving adequate sunbathing possibilities.

The location

Nolton Haven is situated in the centre of St Brides Bay on the West Pembrokeshire Coast and in the National park. It is a small hamlet which is clustered around a large cove, some seven miles from the county town of Haverfordwest with all amenities. There is the Mariners pub at the bottom of the lane overlooking the Haven consists of a farm and a few cottages. The beach is very good - sandy between cliffs - and is safe at all times except at low tide between the headlands in rough seas. There are superb walks in both directions along the coast path, and there is a free car park by the beach and an excellent pub. Horse riding is available at East Nolton riding stables in Nolton village.

There are local shops at Roche, Broadhaven and Newgale, each 2 to 3 miles away.

Notes

Bookings are normally from Saturday to Saturday, but other periods and mini breaks can be arranged to suit, outside the main holiday periods. The cost of electricity is included in the rental.
