Bluebell Cottage is in a lovely semi-rural position with private grounds enjoying panoramic views over the Gower Peninsula and Loughor Estuary.

The accommodation

Newly renovated, the property is fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, coffee maker, two TV and DVD players. All bedding and towels are provided and heating and electricity are included in the rental rate. Travel cot and high chair available on request.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.

There are many good places to eat out nearby, and we will be happy to point you in the right direction and have several recommendations in the welcome folder.

You will find a selection of books and board games for use during your stay.

Our area

Llanelli is a well kept secret. We have a beautiful location and this post industrial town has recently benefited from much investment which has given us a magnificent promenade and a continually improving town centre.

We have a great new retail park, boasting leading names, there are many leisure activities, including a new cinema and theatre complex, horse riding, ski slope and adventure park to name a few. There are many beautiful beaches to visit, castles in outstanding locations. The home of Dylan Thomas is a short distance away. A day trip to Tenby is a must as well as taking the children to Folly Farm - our family's all time favourite outing.

The Gower Peninsula, Britain's first designated area of outstanding natural beauty, is only 30 minutes away and Pembrey Country Park with its award winning beach and various activities, one of Wales' most visited locations, is only 10 minutes away. A few miles further is the well preserved Kidwelly castle.

The Millennium Coastal Cycle Path is very close and we have bicycles available for hire to explore the 12 miles or so of beautiful coastline in either direction. Other attractions in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Swansea are within easy reach.

There are several top rate golf courses locally and we are a short drive from Ffos Las racecourse.
