Ty Glyn

This cottage is in the village of Beddgelert in the heart of Snowdonia. It has two bedrooms - one double with en-suite shower room and WC, and one family room with bunk beds and a single bed. Duvets and pillows are provided.

The bathroom has bath and WC, with shower over the bath. Towels are not provided.

Kichen diner: Electric ceramic halogen hob, eye-level double oven, two fridges one with freezer, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, kettle.

Lounge: Log burning stove in feature fireplace, tv, video, dvd player and Sky digibox (free-to-air channels).

Outside is a walled garden with furniture.

There is roadside parking to the front of the property.

Economy 7 heating and hot water are included in the rental price.

Multifuel burner heats radiators and provides supplementary hot water. Logs and coal are available locally at an extra charge.

Within walking distance of the lovely village of Beddgelert in the foothills of Snowdon, there can be no better escape from the hurly-burly of modern day life than this.

This stone built cottage has been tastefully modernised within, providing comfortable accommodation including a log burning stove set in a feature fireplace.

The open plan lounge is complemented by a modern dining kitchen with modern appliances including a halogen hob.

The cottage has two ample bedrooms, one family and one double with en-suite.

The beautifully decorated main bathroom has a bath with shower over, pedestal hand wash basin and wc. It is a lovely light airy room benefiting from a skylight. After a hard day's walking in the mountains you can take a nice long relaxing bath.

The main bedroom at the rear of the property has a double bed with fitted wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom. The en-suite is finished to the same high standard as the main bathroom. With corner shower unit with electric shower, pedestal hand wash basin and wc.

The property enjoys free mountain views to the rear and is less than a stone's throw away from the Glaslyn river which rapids its way through the village. The roar of the river is a relaxation inducing feature of this spectacular mountain location.

Area information

The cottage is situated just outside the centre of the village of Beddgelert, with mountain views to the front and the rear. The village has good amenities including several pubs, cafes, general stores and post office.

Beddgelert is located in the foothills of Snowdon, with great opportunities for walking, biking and climbing.

The harbour town of Porthmadog, 8 miles away, is the nearest big town, and Caernarfon is just 12 miles away.

This area combines the beauty of the Snowdonia National Park with some of the UK's most beautiful beaches less than an hour's drive away.

Borth-y-Gest, Black Rock Sands, Criccieth, Harlech - the latter two boasting two incredible castles - are all nearby seaside resorts.

Lakeside and river walks and activities are also available in this stunning part of the world.

On booking we normally request a 30% deposit with the remainder due one month prior to your stay.

Electricity is included in the rental price. We do not provide bed linen or towels in the rental. However, these are available locally.
