Salmon Leap Cottage was completely renovated to a high standard in 2009. It is a 18th Century, warm and comfortable two bed-roomed cottage, nestling between two rivers in a pretty hamlet. This is an area of outstanding beauty and is a designated site of specific scientific interest. The cottage provides the perfect tranquil location for rest and recuperation.

There are wonderful walks from the door with views over the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons. There is ample opportunity to see a variety of wildlife including red kites, herons, and even leaping salmon which can be spotted from the veranda of the cottage.

The cottage is very well equipped and beautifully decorated with new quality furnishings.

The property consists of a comfortable lounge with stone fireplace and log burner (logs for one fire provided further baskets of logs are available at cost). However if you prefer not to be making up fires there is central heating available within the rental price.

There is a french window leading out from the lounge onto the veranda overlooking the river and surrounding countryside.

The lounge is equipped with a television, satellite receiver, CD player and DVD player. There is a comfortable sofa and one armchair.

A telephone is also available in the cottage for incoming calls and emergencies.

A wide range of games, jigsaw puzzles, books, CDs and DVDs are available for guests use.

The dining area is set out so as to overlook the river and has a table and two chairs.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, washing machine and iron and ironing board and a wide range of kitchen utensils and equipment.

At the front of the cottage is a further seating area overlooking the village with a parking space for one vehicle, additional parking is available within view of the cottage.

Upstairs there is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and heated towel rail.

The double bedroom has dual aspects overlooking the village and woods to the front and the river and hillside at the rear. This is very attractively decorated and furnished. Beds are made up on arrival with white bed linen.
