Welcome to Rhiwlas cottages at Nebo, between Moelfre and Amlwch, just off the main 5025 road overlooking Anglesey's outstanding North coast and countryside.

The Granary and the Shippon have been tastefully converted, to a very high standard and we also have two new cottages now available for summer and winter lets - Ash cottage and Oak cottage.

Set in a peaceful off road setting on the hillside at Rhiwlas on the edge of Penysarn village, they all have superb views over the Irish Sea, Parys mountain and the Anglesey countryside.

Ideally suited for children and elderly, as a base to explore Anglesey on foot, by bike or by car, or to relax in the pleasant quiet surroundings.

Close to many beautiful sandy beaches and coves with abundance of wildlife and birds.

The Granary is a two storey two bedroom cottage (one bedroom upstairs) with kitchen/diner, conservatory and shower room.For up to five people

The Shippon is a single storey two bedroom cottage with kitchen diner, living area and shower room.for up to five people

Oak Cottage is a single storey cottage two bedrooms (both ensuite) plus double sofa bed available, with kitchen diner, living area bathroom and en-suite shower room. For up to seven people

Ash Cottage is a single storey two bedroom cottage with kitchen diner, living area and bathroom.Suitable for up to five people.

There is a separate washing/drying room.

There are 18 acres of private grounds which guests are free to to roam, seating areas for relaxing, ideal for barbecue.

Ample parking space is available for all vehicles, including boats and trailers.

The cottages are within 5 minutes' walk of the village shop and pub (serving excellent food), and close to the town and heritage port of Amlwch, coastal village of Moelfre and the sandy beaches of Lligwy, Llaneilian Bay, Bull Bay and Moelfre, also many other hidden coves.

Situated very close to the Anglesey costal path,There are also many other footpaths and quiet country lanes for enjoyable walks (or cycling), nature appreciation and bird watching. It's well worth a walk to the hidden inland sea at Dulas (about 2km).

In addition to the self catering cottages, we also have an almost new six berth Granada static caravan.

Pleasure and evening fishing boat trips can also be arranged by the owners.

Area information

Visit the nearby working Amlwch port with its new visitor attractions and Heritage centres, for a relaxing day out. Visit the old copper mountain. Leisure Centre and swimming pool at Amlwch, Charter boats and guide available for coastal cruises to see seals, porpoises and other wildlife.Visit the famous Life Boat at Moelfre and Marina at Holyhead. You could also take a ferry day trip to Ireland from Holyhead.

Eating out

Several local family pubs/hotels/takeaways serving excellent food,close to Rhiwlas cottages. Children are very welcome. Several other pubs, restaurants Pilot Boat good for kids with funbus and takeaways are nearby. Trecastell, overlooking Bull Bay, is an excellent place for a meal. Rossi's Indian Restaurant and new Italian at Amlwch offers sit-in or takeaways.
