Furze Mill is a detached holiday property situated only 100 metres from the safe, sandy beach at Nolton Haven. Originally a working water mill for grinding gorse as animal fodder, it has been tastefully converted into a spacious andfortable family home, with extensive lawns to front and rear.
A separate dedicated drive leads to the front of the mill although most access is via the bridge, across a stream running along one boundary, into to the rear of the property.
The first floor has three bedrooms:
A master bedroom with a king size double bed, fitted dressing table, wall cupboards and wardrobes throughout providing considerable storage space and also has views inland over the back garden and the stream running beside the mill.
The second and third bedrooms have twin beds (each 3ft x 6ft). Both these bedrooms have dressing tables, fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers providing adequate drawer space. (There is an occasional 'drop-down' bed in one of these bedrooms if required). They both also overlook the front garden and have direct sea views.
The fourth bedroom leading from the hallway on the ground floor, is very light with twin Velux windows, but no sea view. It has twin beds each 2ft 6in x 6ft 3in (which can be put together to make a king size double) a chest of drawers, wardrobe, and has an en-suite wc with washbasin to the front cloakroom.
All beds are equipped with pillows and duvets but linen is not supplied.
The bathroom, on the first floor, has a bath, hand basin, toilet and an airing cupboard. There is an additional separate toilet next to it opening from the spacious landing.
The ground floorprises a large lounge dining room with two three-piece suites, a gate leg table and eight dining chairs, television, radio with CD/tape, and electric fire. French windows lead out onto the paved covered patio with table and bench seats with views inland.
The kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, sink unit and is fully equipped with all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils and plenty of cupboards. Leading off the kitchen is the utility room which has a sink unit, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and second fridge. A separate door from the utility room leads out to the covered patio and the bridge across the stream.
A room off the utility area now incorporates a fully tiled shower room with separate wash hand basin.
The hallway leads to the front porch, downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.
Heating is by time-controlled electric storage heaters (included in price). There is a £1 meter for all other electrical consumption (including immersion water heater and any use of the electric convector heaters in the bedrooms). Additionally for added heat in the downstairs rooms there are two ceramic electric heaters.
Dogs (to be kept downstairs only please) are accepted at additional cost to cover necessary cleaning.
Bookings are from Sunday - Sunday, time of arrival 3pm and departure time 10am. Shorter breaks can be agganged-please enquire.
25% deposit required to confirm booking. Balance to be paid 28 days before booked date. Provisional bookings, upon initial enquiry, held for 7 days pending receipt of confirming deposit.
