Boulder Adventures

Boulder Adventures' Bryn Du Mountain Centre is in the centre of the village Llanberis, Snowdonia. Bryn Du is a spacious Victorian house in its own gardens, which we have refurbished as a specialised base for outdoor adventures. We have car parking for 15 vehicles and have all facilities for self-catered groups.

The accommodation

You will have exclusive use of this self catering house. We have 35 beds split over 7 bunkrooms over 3 floors. We have one room for 1person, two rooms for 4people, three rooms for 6people and one room for 8people. Bedding is provided, but we do ask guests to bring their own towels. Shower and WC facilities are provided on the second floor, we have 6 lockable cubicles containing a shower, WC and basin and 1 cubicle which contains only a WC and hand basin, also a ground floor WC / shower room, and a WC on the third/top floor.

We have a very good kitchen with all the expected facilities- 2 washing washing up basins, a hand washing basin, plenty of prep-surfaces, dishwasher, freezer and fridge, all pots, pans, utensils, tea-towels and crockery, glasses and wine glasses are provided. We have a spacious lounge with a wood burning stove, tv and sofas, a large dining room with access to patio garden seating, the cellar is set up as an efficient drying room for wet and dirty kit. The gardens are private and quiet, there's a patio with seating, lawns, a camp fire circles and mini oak woodland area.

Our area

Llanberis is an ideal location for all kinds of outdoor adventurous activities, Snowdon and Llyn Padarn lake are all accessible by foot. The Llanberis Slate Quarries attract plenty of visitors, it has a free museum. The Snowdon railway is a 5 min walk from our house too. The village high street has outdoor shops, cafes, takeaways, Spar, Londis, pubs and restaurants.

The minimum charge for self-catered bookings May to October and Bank Holidays is 15 people, November to April 10 is people.

The training room can be added to your booking for the duration of your stay for £200 .
