The accommodation

All bedrooms have en-suite or private facilities, flat screen televisions. comprehensive hospitality trays and hair dryers. First floor residents' lounge and conservatory leading to lovely NGS (National Garden Scheme) approved garden with patio area, pond and natural stream.

Castle View has a king size bed, en-suite shower room, wash-hand basin and WC. The room has a beautiful view of the valley with Penllyn Castle on the horizon.

Garden View is twin bedded. The modern en suite bathroom has a bath (with overhead shower), a vanity basin and WC. The room overlooks the garden to the rear of the house with open fields beyond.

Forest View has a standard size double bed with a dedicated shower room situated four steps away from the bedroom and for sole use of the occupants of the room. In addition to the shower there is wash-hand basin and WC. Bathrobes are provided for guests use. The room overlooks stone farm buildings and open fields with Hensol Forest in the distance.

A first floor guest lounge is available with comfortable sofa and easy chairs, large flat screen television,hospitality tray and comprehensive selection of tourist information.

An iron and ironing board are available on request.

We assure guests with allergy problems that all our accommodation is pet free.

The location

An ideal touring base for Southern Wales with its numerous and varied visitor attractions. Bryn-y-Ddafad lies close to the M4 with the unspoilt Heritage Coast, the Gower, the Brecon Beacons, the Wye Valley and the South Wales Valleys all within easy reach.

Relax in this peaceful rural location surrounded by panoramic views and enjoy our scrumptious Welsh breakfast with a variety of dishes from a traditional Welsh breakfast with laverbread to several fish and vegetarian options.

Nearby tourist attractions include the widely acclaimed St. Fagans National History Museum (free entry) and Dyffryn House and Gardens (administered by the National Trust). The recently opened Royal Mint Visitor Centre is well worth a visit.
