Standing at the entrance to the railway station at Holyhead, the iron clock, painted white with black detailing, has stood here since 1880. Its inscription says: "Holyhead Old Harbour Extension works commenced January 1875. Opened by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales 17th June 1880."
