Winter in the Valleys

Linking the valleys of South Wales are wild roads across open moorland, many at some serious altitude. This is by the ridge Craig Rhiw-ddu at the top of the descent to Abedare on the A4233 Maerdy Road. The backdrop is the snow-covered peak of Mynydd-y-glog (390 metres) which stands above Hirwaun and Penderyn.
