Llywelyn ap Gruffydd at Llandovery

Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, a Welsh landowner, led the forces of Henry IV astray in their search for Owain Glyndwr, leader of the resistance. When eventually captured he was hung, drawn and quartered near to the spot where his statue now stands, by the castle at Llandovery.
