Llanberis, Gwynedd
The V2 incline is the only slate incline working today in the UK. A series of tracks climb the sides of the Vivian Quarry at Llanberis. The V2 incline was used from 1875 to the early 1930s, during the peak of slate production at Llanberis. It was restored to its current state in 1998.
