The village of Erwood is in one of the most stunning parts of the Wye Valley, south of Builth Wells in Mid Wales. On the A470 route linking north and south Wales, Erwood has a shop and two pubs. [Update Jan 2016] This seems to no longer be a pub, but the very nearby Wheelwrights Arms is still open.
