Lower Coach House

Lower Coach House is a large one bedroom ground apartment within a converted stable block. It offers spacious accommodation for two, with plenty room for a single bed to sleep three. Plenty of safe private parking on site.

The accommodation

An entrance porch leads into a well fitted kitchen, from the kitchen a hallway leads to the right a large lounge/dining area, to the left in a large bedroom twin beds and en-suite bathroom with bath and good shower over bath. The lounge has lovely views to the Mynach hills and forest.

Courtyard area for parking and seating area. Large shared garden with seating with fantastic forest and mountain views. Summer house with furniture for dining or just relaxing and soaking up the sun.

Wifi is available. Mobile coverage is possible with Orange, T-mobile and E networks.

Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. Washing machine and Dryer in the garage for guests use.

Our area

The village of Devil's Bridge is a popular tourist destination, best known for its spectacular waterfalls and light railway. The River Mynach flows as a torrent below the Three Bridges before dropping in five steps into a narrow ravine before it meets the River Rheidol.

Only a very short walk to the Hafod Hotel with a bar serving meals and afternoon teas. Good cafe walking distance and Ice cream kiosk.

Devils Bridge is the ideal base for exploring the rural Heart of Wales with many and varied walking possibilities from the village and cycle routes. There is much to explore within a short drive including the Elan Valley, Hafod Estate, Plynlimon range of hills and the Ceredigion coast.

Aberystwyth 20 minutes easy drive is the main shopping centre and a coastal university town with lots of good shops and restaurants, Visit New Quay for sandy beaches and superb Dolphin watching boat trips. Additional sandy beaches are at Borth, Ynyslas and harbour town of Aberaeron.
