The location

The small village of Cwmtwrch, meaning Valley of the Wild Boar referring to a heroic legend in which King Arthur slayed a wild boar which was tyrannising the Brecon Beacons, is beautiful and has a naturally occurring spring said to have healing powers. There are also several friendly pubsneraby, including the Tredegar which is just across the road and the Aubrey Inn is five minutes away.

The neighbouring village of Ystradgynlais is three miles away, and has a supermarket and a choice of restaurants.
