Set in the well tended grounds of Caer Beris Holiday Park, close to the bank of the River Ithon, this spacious timber lodge offers well equipped and comfortable accommodation for four people.
The setting is rural, but handy for town as Builth is only a mile away - a few minutes in the car, or a pleasant 20 minute walk when the weather obliges.
French doors open onto a large balcony at the front of the lodge, where you could dine in the summer. The living area has a large and comfortable sofa and armchair, and there's a flatscreen tv with satellite freeview. To one side is the dining area - a circular table and four chairs, and next to this is the kitchen, which has full size fridge and gas cooker, and a full complement of what's you expect in a kitchen.
There's a double bedroom and a twin, a bathroom with shower, and a separate loo.
There's one 'rod' on the river included with the rental in the fishing season. A rod licence is required.
The chalet has its own private parking space.
Pets are welcome at the site - there's a large riverside area for dog walking, and miles of footpaths nearby. Bring up to two well behaved pets for no extra charge.
Our prices include bed linen and towels.
Builth Wells has everything you need - a small supermaket, banks, chemist, fuel station, pubs, restaurants, hardware store and plenty more - and Wyeside Arts Centre, a cinema and the venue for many and varied live acts.
The annual Royal Welsh Show is the town's biggest event, and the showground is home to several other major events throughout the year.
Builth is set in some of Britain's most majestic and unspoilt countryside, with the vast uplands of the Cambrian Mountains and the Elan Valley flanking it to the west, the Brecon Beacons to the south, and to the north mysterious Radnorshire, the least populated old county of Powys, itself Britain's most rural county outside Scotland.
