Activities of all kinds are catered for in this splendid nature's playground. Within the town you are a minute away from shops, several restaurants, the Tudor houses of Plas Mawr, the finest surviving Elizabethan town house in Britain, and Aberconwy House, a 14th century merchant's house. Round the corner is the river front with its old harbour, Mussel museum, and the "smallest house in Britain".

Conwy town has many fine places to eat in or out, from fish and chips on the river front, a tourist tradition popular with seagulls, to award winning hotel restaurants.
