Pembrokeshire Tipis

Pembrokeshire is renowned for its spectacular views, weathered cliffs and sandy beaches - all luring you to explore them. Nearby ancient towns and villages have their own quirky characters just waiting for you to discover them too.

Pembrokeshire tipis are based in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National park overlooking a secluded valley over Keeston Moor and towards the Preseli Hills. We are close to the local beaches of Nolton Haven, Newgale, Druidston Haven, Broadhaven and Littlehaven. These beaches are perfect for beach-lovers, surfers, swimmers, windsurfers, kayakers and kite surfers.

If you fancy being adventurous Pembrokeshire is the birthplace of the new sport of coasteering where you can travel along the shore using climbing and swimming.

The Tipis

Each tipi comes furnished with a double futon bed and 4 single fold down beds and are fully carpeted and each has its own cooking facilities with a double gas hob and grill. Outside the tipi you have your own area with a campfire and barbecue with your own picnic table. Each tipi has its own water supply. The site also has toilets and a hot shower for those colder days.

We are happy to allow dogs to the site as all the local beaches have dog friendly areas and the coastal path is the perfect place for a long walk to see the beauty of Pembrokeshire close too.

Days Out

St Davids for a look around the smallest city in Britain with its beautiful cathedral and many small shops and restaurants and also Caerfai Bay and Whitesands Beach.

Solva which is a small fishing village with its quirky shops and pubs and restaurants.

Pembroke which has a perfect castle which you can explore the ramparts and also holds many re-enactment events and plays during the summer months.

Oakwood Theme Park is the largest theme park in Wales and has many enthralling rides including Megaphobia which is the biggest wooden rollercoaster in Britain,Vertigo and Bounce which is worth a visit if you are into heart stopping big rides.

Folly Farm is the perfect day out for the smaller children with many animals which the children can feed, an indoor soft play area, a small zoo with meearkat island, and an indoor old fashioned fairground. This a perfect place to visit if the weather is a little bit on the damp side.

Heatherton is perfect for all with the chance to have a go at archery, clay pigeon shooting, pistol shooting, crazy golf, baseball, go-karts, hi ropes course and during the summer a Maize maze.

Manor House Wildlife Park which is owned by Anna Rider Richardson and has many animals including gibbons, zebra, wallaby, tapir, sulcata, meerkat, lemur, deer, birds and even a camel.

The Islands of Skomer, Skokholm, Ramsey, Grassholm and Caldey are a perfect places if you are into nature and boat trips with many companies offering site seeing cruises with large populations of puffins, gannets, porpoises, seals, shearwaters and, if your'e really lucky, the odd dolphin.

With so much to see in Pembrokeshire the time is never enough as around every corner there is something new and exciting to explore.
