Eirlys Cottage

Ffrwd Ganol is a peaceful seven acre rural smallholding, approximately one and half miles from Ceredigion coast beach at Llanrhystud, centrally located for the Cardigan coast and the harbour towns of Aberystwyth and Aberaeron. Eirlys boasts a private hot tub, and dogs are welcome. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4 or 5 (with collapsible bed on mezzanine)

The accommodation

One of two recently converted stone cottages, Eirlys, comfortably sleeps up to four, with a ground floor king size bedroom with en suite and an upstairs twin bedroom. A travel cot is also available on request.

The ground floor area also comprises an entrance hallway leading to an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area with original character exposed beams and oak furnishings. The lounge is furnished with comfortable corner leather seating and equipped with wall mounted tv (with freeview), DVD player and hifi system.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher and automatic washing machine. The dining area has seating for five. A high chair available on request.

The bathroom (downstairs) provides power shower, toilet and wash hand basin with heated towel rail.

Stairs from the dining area lead to the upstairs twin bedroom and galleried sitting area- can accomodate extra bed for 5th person

A rear stable door leads from the lounge to an outside enclosed patio and garden area with garden furniture, PRIVATE HOT TUB barbecue and clothes line.

The cottage has full oil central heating and all fuel for heating and cooking is included in the price. Bed linen is provided but towels are available at extra cost on request.

There is ample off road parking for two vehicles.

The location

Within a mile are local shops, post office, garage and dog-friendly pub, 18 and 9 hole golf course with driving range at Penrhos Country Club and fun for all the family at Fantasy Farm.

Beautiful walks from the cottage, public footpaths taking you to the village and also to the beach linking with the ceredigion coastal path.

Gorgeous beaches of Newquay and Cardigan a short drive away

Our area

The university town of Aberystwyth is 9 miles North with superb shopping facilities, an extensive range of restaurants, pubs and entertainment.

To the South, Aberaeron, is an attractive Georgian town with a picturesque harbour and highly regarded restaurants.

Sea fishing, Horse riding boat trips, dolphin and seal watching, quad biking and go-karting all within 20 minutes drive.

Other places to visit include:

Devil's Bridge, National Trust estate of Llanerchaeron, Tregaron Bog nature reserve and Teifi ponds.
