This furnished ground floor apartment offers comfortable contemporary living and benefits from its own terrace as well as the use of a large communal lawn overlooking the bay.

The accommodation comprises of a lounge/diner complete with fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, halogen hob and oven. All crockery, cutlery and other kitchen utensils are provided as are a toaster, kettle, and tea towels.

The double bedroom is light and airy with ample storage, and the single room has a cabin bed suitable for a child up to the approximate age of 8 or 9. A compact shower room with w/c is adjacent.

Heating is provided in the living room by an electric fan heater and in the main bedroom by a portable oil filled radiator. All heating costs are included in the price.

The property has Freesat digital TV.

All bed linen is included but please note that towels are not supplied.

Children and/or pets are welcome. A cot and high chair are available on request.

The patio area is private with great sea and beach views and comes complete with table and four chairs, perfect for sitting and enjoying a barbecue or alfresco drink.

Local Area

The apartment is situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the coastal path is only a short stroll away. The path offers some of the most spectacular views in the county.

Barafundle, Manorbier, and Freshwater West beaches are a short distance away and can be accessed either by walking, driving or cycling. Historic Pembroke town is only 3 miles away with its magnificent Tudor Castle and the quaint seaside town of Tenby is just 7 miles.

Pembrokeshire is full of history with castles in almost every town and plenty of activities for those who want to stretch themselves physically, but equally if all you want is peace and tranquility then you've come to the right place.

Eating out

The area is awash with eateries, I have chosen just a few that are closest to the flat.

Freshwater East itself has a pub, the Freshwater Inn and also the Longhouse which is part of the Trewent Park holiday complex. Both offer a range of bar snacks and meals with the added benefit of sea views at the Freshwater Inn, and both are within walking distance of Devon Court.

Just two miles away in the village of Lamphey you will find two hotels and a pub. The Lamphey Hall hotel situated opposite the church in the centre of the village boasts locally sourced produce and a sophisticated a la carte menu as well as a set price menu. Equally the Dial Inn, the village pub situated on the Ridgeway (road leaving the village towards Tenby), serves excellent fish dishes using locally caught sea bass for example.

The imposing white country house that is the Lamphey Court Hotel (down the lane leading to the Bishops Palace) has a lovely conservatory serving light lunches in very relaxed surroundings as well as a full a la carte restaurant for more formal dining.
