Sheilas House

Sheila's Guest House is two minutes walk from Twyn Square in the centre of Usk, and overlooks the fields and waterways of the Usk valley.

We welcome pets and walkers and your luggage can be delivered in advance for the usk valley walk.

The property is in walking distance of Usk Castle, The Three Salmons and The Glen yr Afon Hotels which are very renowned wedding venues.

Accommodation

The house itself was specifically built as a bed and breakfast, with well equipped bedrooms all with very large windows, and nice views over the gardens and beyond.

We have three bedrooms: one double en-suite, and two twin rooms with hand basins in each, and a shared bathroom on the landing.

A full Welsh breakfast cooked to order, or continental and dietary options on request, is available from 7 to 9am, and is served in the dining room. If you need to leave outside these times, a packed lunch is available by prior arrangement.

The guest house is in a quiet location but none the less near to everything you could want and has been a success since 1990.

Local Area

Ideally situated for holiday breaks (golfing, fishing, county walks, or just to absorb the heritage of the town of Usk itself), we are less that 1 mile from the A449 to Monmouth Ross on Wye and the North, which links to the M4 corridor.

Newport is 9 miles, Cardiff 24 miles.

Payment information

Bookings must be made in advance and a deposit of £10 per person is required which is refundable on cancellation notice of 14 days and over. Payment may be by cheque, cash or sterling travellers cheque.
