The accommodation

Your comfort is our concern, and all houses have well equipped kitchens, with dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, tv,dvd, cd/radio and even a hair dryer for your convenience. All our cottages are well equipped and comfortable, with beds made up for your arrival.

Three houses have coal fires and some with full central heating are ideal for that romantic winter weekend. Bed and breakfast visitors are welcome in the cottages. We can arrange reductions for golfing at Abersoch, Pwllheli, Porthmadog and Nefyn golf clubs. Crafnat, a new house is available to the partially disabled.

The location

On the organic dairy farm our guests are welcome to help feed the cats, pigs, hens, pony, lambs (in spring).

The indoor pool, games room or helping Alwyn keeps active adults and children occupied while the less energetic relax in our sauna and Jacuzzi.

High season barbecues help forge new friendships and playmates making for a genial, relaxing holiday. 77% returning parties are testament to satisfaction - book early to avoid disappointment.

Being only one and a quarter miles from Pwllheli, the main town of the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula, you are within easy reach of numerous coastal activities or you can relax at home with new made friends and enjoy the peace and quiet of rural life.

Our area

Only 10 miles south of Anglesey and approximately a 2 hour trip from Chester and Shrewsbury, 50 miles from Llandudno, we are now easily accessible, yet you will be entering a different land where this environmentally sensitive peninsula with its 50 mile heritage coast of sandy bays and rocky headlands is a haven for nature lovers and historians (Welsh, the oldest existing European language, is still spoken).

Motor along narrow country lanes, walk the coastal paths at Nefyn, Tudweiliog, Aberdaron, Hell's Mouth, Abersoch, Llanbedrog and Pwllheli. Join in all the activities, including sailing, canoeing, surf and sailboarding, sea and river fishing, hill climbing, horse riding, investigating the rock pools, or relax on one of the numerous safe sandy beaches for which Lleyn is renown.

There are three 18 hole golf courses at Abersoch, Nefyn and Pwllheli - all are within 7 miles of the farm, and we have arranged reduced rates for our visitors.

Climbing, sea, lake or river fishing; mountain, hill/forest walks, museums, zoos etc are all within easy reach of Gwynfryn.

The five castles at Conwy, Beaumaris, Caernarfon, Harlech and Criccieth are all worth a visit. Golf courses at Criccieth, Porthmadog, Harlech and Caernarfon are all within 20 miles and with 3 courses on Lleyn - play a different course every day for a week.

There are numerous top attractions within 50 miles: Anglesey Sea Zoo, Colwyn Bay Mountain Zoo, Llandudno's copper mines, the discovery and dating of which has changed long held historic views. Bodnant, Portmeirion, Plas yn Rhiw and Glynllifon gardens are worth a visit.

The narrow gauge railways including the Ffestiniog line at Porthmadog and the rack and pinion up Snowdon are a fascination for many. We have even arranged discounts at some of these attractions.

Notes
