Tyn-y-Beili Holiday Barn stands in the old farmyard opposite the 600 year old traditional stone farmhouse, and has been converted into 3 lets, Upper Barn & No's 1 & 2 Lower Barn. Tyn-y-Beili enjoys wonderful rural views of the surrounding hills and the scenery is simply stunning.

We are approximately 9 miles from Builth Wells, a lovely small town with theatre/cinema, restaurants, individual shops, a sports centre, swimming pool, tourist information office & The Royal Welsh Showground. Also within easy reach are the Elan Valley Reservoirs, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a very interesting history.

Nearby are routes for walking, mountain biking and horse riding. Adventure sports / activities are also available in the local area. We are lucky enough to see many species of birds here, including Red Kites and buzzards often seen overhead. There is a feeding station for Red Kites in Rhayader.

There are several local pubs, the nearest being The Red Lion (12th century) at Llanafan Fawr, offering good food and a warm atmosphere. This area really has something for everyone.

A welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, fresh home baked bread, Welsh cakes, butter and milk awaits guests on their arrival.

Quality bedlinen and normal use electricity is included in the price.

Please note that we are located down a farm track which is unsuitable for sports or lowered cars.

Tyn y Beili Upper Barn

First floor apartment with two double rooms (one en-suite), one twin room, shower room. Spacious lounge/diner/kitchen area (equipped with washing machine,tumble dryer, cooker,fridge/freezer,microwave and all cooking utensils, crockery etc). The lounge has a double sofa bed and is also equipped with SkyTV (free channels only),DVD & CD players.

Outside is an enclosed garden area with barbecue for guests use. There is parking space for 2 cars.

No1 Lower Barn sleeps 2-3

Lower Barn as the name suggests is part of a tastefully converted traditional stone barn set amongst the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains in glorious Mid Wales.

The Accommodation comprises of the following:

One double room with en-suite wc/shower room
Lounge/diner/kitchen area (equipped with hob, fridge, microwave,mini oven and all cooking utensils, crockery etc.)

The Lounge is equipped with SkyTV (free channels only),DVD & CD players.

A camp bed is available for one child to sleep in the bedroom.

Outside there is a shared enclosed patio area for guests use. There is parking for 1 car.

No2 Lower Barn sleeps 2-4

One double bedroom. Shower room/wc equipped with washing machine. Lounge/diner/kitchen area equipped with hob, fridge, microwave, mini oven and cooking utensils, crockery etc.

The lounge also has a double sofa bed and is equipped with SkyTV (free channels only)DVD & CD players.

Outside there is a shared enclosed patio area for guests use. There is parking for 1 car. We are in the perfect location to enjoy many outdoor pursuits or just to sit back and enjoy the spectacular countryside.
