Fuchsias

Fuchsias is conveniently situated in a premium location, a short walk from the centre of the delightful, bustling holiday and fishing village of Saundersfoot with its blue flag sandy beaches, harbour, and wealth of shops, restaurants and pubs. It is also only a few hundred yards from the quieter Glen Beach and Swallow Tree Woods, and is directly on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to Tenby (3 miles).

Those who are less inclined to walk will appreciate the buses to Tenby that can be caught outside the property, and which also allows one to leave the car behind. Transfers from local bus and railway stations and ferry ports can be arranged.

Accommodation

Fuchsias is a one bedroom, ground floor, garden apartment adjoining the owners' property set in a third of an acre overlooking the beautiful Carmarthen Bay with distant views of the Gower Peninsula. As its name suggests the apartment is surrounded by a fuchsia hedge that is laden with red flowers for much of spring, summer and autumn in what is an exceptionally mild and sunny area.

The apartment comprises a large lounge with French doors leading to the private garden/patio area where there is a brick-built barbecue and patio furniture for those sunny evenings. The enclosed garden also offers views of the sea over the hedge and beneath large cherry trees that are at the height of their beauty around April/May.

A pretty king size double bedroom with washbasin is complemented by a quality, double sofa bed in the lounge. An adult size Z bed, cot and highchair are also available if required.

The modern, well-equipped kitchen has a small breakfast-bar, alternatively there is a dining table in the lounge. Facilities include a washer/drier, microwave, electric hob and grill/oven, and fridge with freezer compartment.

The fully tiled bathroom contains a luxurious jucuzzi bath with shower mixer, and a wc, bidet and hand wash basin.

Heating is by a combination of gas central heating and gas fires and Fuchsias is fully double glazed. Gas and electric are included in the rent. Tea towels and bed linen (except for the cot) are provided.

Other amenities include colour television with Freeview, DVD, micro-music system, small library of books, games etc.

WiFi broadband internet access is available free upon request.

Safe parking for two cars is available at the property on the private driveway.

Fuchsias is a no-smoking property and pets are not accepted.

The accommodation is equally suitable for a single couple for a romantic break, or for a small family looking for a beach,walking or touring holiday. Private, yet set in the heart of this tourist area, Fuchsias has for many years now proven to be a delightful holiday base.
