Stunning Victorian Cottage overlooking beautiful countryside. Stylishly renovated to provide luxurious, Cosy accommodation comfortably sleeping 6 people. Idyllically situated mid-way between New Quay and Llangrannog, with the stunning cove of Cwmtydu just 2 miles away. Village Shop and Pub just a pleasant 1 mile walk away along quiet lanes.

The accommodation comprises of 2 reception rooms, both with open fires and a kitchen/dining Room overlooking gardens and pond. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 single).

The main Lounge has a lovely period open fireplace and 2 Comfy Leather settees. Widescreen TV, DVD, Video recorder and cd stereo are all provided. The second Lounge - the Piano Room. has a lovely old Piano (recently tuned too), period open fireplace and lots of games and books for those lazy days in. There is also free Broadband Access (both wireless and wired).

The kitchen/dining room overlooks the gardens, patio and pond. The kitchen is very well-equipped. There is a dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, ceramic-top cooker. The dining area has a beautiful old range with open fire too. There is a washing machine in the separate utility room.

Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms (1 being a four-poster) and 1 single bedroom. Brand new mattresses etc. Antique furniture throughout. The bathroom (with stunning countryside views.) has a luxury bath and separate deluxe power shower.

Outside the cottage has extensive fully landscaped gardens and large patio with patio furniture, barbecue and again amazing rural views. The beautiful gardens are full of wildbirds and visiting wildlife. There is a pretty wildlife pond too with gated access from the pond garden to the patio and other gardens. There is even a large covered gazebo with bench so that you can sit and watch the wildlife or even barbecue in any weather. The Cottage has direct access to a 7 acre meadow where you are free to wander and meet the grazing sheep. The absence of light pollution ensures breathtaking night skies on clear nights and stunning Sunsets can be viewd over the local beaches too.

The cottage is fully centrally heated and bed linen is provided. Please bring your own towels. Heating and Power as well as Initial firewood/coal are all included. There is private off-road parking. For your convenience there is also Free Broadband Access at the cottage.

Local Area

There is plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. Stunning, award-winning beaches at New Quay, and Llangrannog are just 4 miles away. Abandon the Car and Follow the Stream through Ancient Wooded Valley to Cwmtydu. Otherwise known as Seal Bay as it is now famous for its grey seal population (pups born on beach late August to late Sept). Explore the wonderful ruins of an old village en-route and watch out for signs of Badgers and Otters about. Join the Coastal Path at Cwmytdu and enjoy spectacular Views towards Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula.

Brynifor is just a 5 minute drive from 3 Blue flag Beaches. Our Heritage Coastline is still relatively undiscovered and totally unspoilt. Enjoy stunning clean beaches, bathe in spotless tourquoise waters and even find your own deserted beach along the coast too. Of course Our Bottle-nosed Dolphins and Grey Seal populations are regularly spotted from the Cliffs, Beaches and Boat Trips throughout the year.

New Quay has plenty of pubs, restaurants, shops and take-aways too. The renowned Crown Inn at Llwyndafydd is just 1 mile away. There is also a small village shop at Blaencelyn which is also 1 mile from the cottage. Great farm-shop at Sarnau (approx. 5 miles), fresh fish from the pier at New Quay...

There is a watersports centre at New Quay, pony trekking at Cwmtydu, Dry-Ski slope at Llangrannog etc etc. The stunning heritage Coastline is well worth exploring, with hidden coves and beaches for you to discover. Not forgetting the resident Dolphins and Atlantic Grey Seal populations. Boat trips are available from New Quay as well as sea fising trips and of course there are miles of inland rivers and lakes to fish too. There are numerous market towns to explore as well as the Cambrian Mountains.

Historic sites include Castles, ancient churches, iron age fort at Castell Henllys to name but a few. Pembrokeshire too is not far away so Tenby and the National Park are all within an easy hours drive of Brynifor.

Adventure Parks and farms include Oakwood, Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, New Quay Honey Farm, The Shire Horse centre and Folly Farm amongst many more.
