Middle Ninfa Farm

Middle Ninfa Farm is in the Brecon Beacons National Park and on the edge of Blaenavon World Heritage Site. It offers bunkhouse accommodation, camping and hands-on training in creative working with willow and building coracles.

The 23 acre farm lies in historic and beautiful landscape. There are fine views over the Usk Valley of the Skirrid and rural Monmouthshire. Mountain walks with pub stops direct from farm. Stunning Punchbowl lake just 5 minutes higher up the Blorenge.

Outside the bunkhouse is a pond, fed by a mountain stream, set in a wild flower area. We have ducks, a cat and a pony and there are sheep in neighbouring fields.

The accommodation

The Bunkhouse provides comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to 6 people. The rustic charm of the old stone building has been retained whilst ensuring modern comforts.

Ground floor: Lounge/dining area with double divan, TV and coal-effect gas fire set in a stone fireplace, well-equipped kitchen and toilet/shower room with hot water.

Upstairs, on the mezzanine floor, are four single beds. This is accessed by a spiral staircase.

Outside, beside a shallow pond with stone banks, guests can enjoy a small garden with barbecue and table and chairs.

The tranquil campsite has superb views over the Vale of Usk and the Skirrid Mountain. There are three pitches on a the main site and seven remote sole occupancy sites higher up the hill, available all year. Two compost toilet blocks, one with solar heated shower, sink and running water and use of the tennis court/croquet lawn when weather allows.

Camp fires are permitted at all sites. Firewood, garden fruit, preserves and vegetables are for sale at the farm.
