Ty Coed

Ty Coed is an attractive timber chalet, fully insulated and double glazed, set in the grounds of the proprietor's property. It enjoys peace, seclusion and glorious views of the Upper Tanat Valley and Berwyn Mountains, yet is only 2 miles from the village of Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant with shops, pubs and Post Office.

The accommodation

The open plan living/ding room has French windows leading on to the verandah and has magnificent views to the far side of the valley. It is tastefully furnished in keeping with the pine paneling. A freeview tv, dvd player and radio cassette are provided.

The kitchen is fully fitted with ample storage and cooking facilities including a full size electric double oven with hob, microwave and door also leads onto the verandah.

The inner hallway leads to the two bedrooms and shower room.

The main bedroom has a king size double bed which by prior arrangement can be made into 2 full size single beds (please request this when booking) and pine furniture. The second bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobe, dressing table etc.

All bed linen and towels are provided. The property is centrally heated throughout by night storage heaters.

There is a garden area around the chalet with garden furniture and barbecue. There is also ample parking for two cars next to the chalet.

The storeroom has a small freezer, a washing machine and a drier installed for the use of the guests. This store can also be used for storing bikes, golf clubs etc. There are facilities here to hang and store wet outer clothing and shoes and we would ask our guests to do so rather than take them in the chalet.

The location

The spectacular 240ft Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, one of the seven wonders of Wales is a fifteen-minute drive away. An ideal area for nature lovers, walkers or those who just want to explore the beautiful area of Mid-Wales and the Welsh Borders, Ty Coed is a perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy yourselves.
