Local Area

Very popular with our visitors is a visit to Skomer Island to see the puffins that nest on the Island from late April - a perfect day out. Some visitors prefer to take an afternoon or evening boat trip around the offshore Islands. For a relaxing break there are many sandy beaches and quiet areas to sit and rest body and soul.

For those that are seeking an action packed holiday there is sailing; surfing; cycling; walking the coastal path; horse-riding and golf to name but a few. Castles; Country houses and Gardens; Oakwood theme park; Animal and Activity parks are all within a 30 minute drive.

We are ideally located for touring the whole of Pembrokeshire, being just 5 miles from Haverfordwest and 3 miles from the seaside, on route for the offshore Islands and halfway between Haverfordwest and the popular sailing village of Dale. The nearest seaside villages are Broad Haven and Little Haven with pubs; restaurants; cafe; shops and post office.

Travel North to St Davids, the smallest city in Great britain with it's magnificent Cathedral, it is just a 25 minute car journey away.  Take the coast road to this historic place and enjoy fantastic views over St Brides Bay with popular stopping points on route, especially solva, a pretty little harbour and well worth a visit. Go South towards Tenby, traveling through Pembroke with its well kept castle and take a oat trip to Caldey island, run by a group of cistersian monks.

Pembrokeshire has something for everyone and Sandra will be happy to help you find the best parts of it. Come along and see for yourselves.
