Set in a beautiful, remote valley between the spa towns of Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells, and close to the village of Hundred House. Gaer Cottage and The Bwlch make comfortable and relaxing holiday bases.

Hereford Lodge - sleeps up to 4 + 2

Hereford Lodge is a spacious timber lodge, situated in the heart of a welsh valley. The Lodge is very comfortable and well equipped, with a complete heating system to keep you cosy in the winter. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, cooker with fan oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The double bedroom; enjoys views out across the valley which includes our own farm and Pedigree cattle. The second bedroom is a twin room with stunning views peering throught the treetops at the valley around.The downstairs is a very spacious semi- open plan arrangement with comfortable seating and dining for 6. There is also a downstairs shower room. The lounge is equipped with TV DVD and stereo system and the entire floor has under floor heating.

Gaer Cottage - sleeps up to 5

Gaer cottage is the orginal farm house that has been converted through out its history. We restored it to a stone and wood cottage. There is two bedroom, one double and one with three single bedrooms, both of which are ensuite. There is an oil-fired heating to keep you cosy in the winter, and big, south facing windows with a wonderful, unspoilt view. There is a conservatory off the main lounge that opens up to a private piece of decking that is self contained.

Local Area

The nearby village of Hundred House has a good pub serving real ale and food; and The Laughing Dog at Howey also serves local sourced food. We are within easy reach of Elan Valley, Hay-on-Wye, Brecon Beacons and Radnor Forest. Lovers of the countryside will enjoy walks straight from the front door. The cottages are both situated in stunning rural setting that has to be seen to be believed.
