The Grand Theatre presents over 500 performances throughout the year and is also the base for the only Russian classically trained Ballet Company based in the UK, Ballet Russe. The Grand also offers a range of conference facilities and hosts a School of Dance and Theatre Arts, a Youth Theatre Group and a variety of education projects.
The Grand Theatre's Arts Wing provides two exhibition areas, a rooftop cafe and bar and a 120 seat performance space called The Depot. The Depot attracts capacity audiences for the monthly Comedy Club and the weekly Jazz Nights with the Swansea Jazz Society.
Monday to Saturday: 9.30am - 8pm
Sunday: Open for one hour before performances.

Restaurant, cafe and bars
Footlights Cafe Bar has now become home to the hugely popular Lavazza Coffee Shop! Morning tea and coffee, lunchtime specials, pre-show dinners and our delightful patio and garden area are all on offer. There is also live music to enjoy between 12.00 and 3.00pm Saturday lunchtimes throughout the Summer.

Why not take the opportunity to make your evening with us even more special by booking a pre-performance meal in our fully licensed Footlights Restaurant? All shows will be accompanied by a full bar menu. A La Carte menus are available on selected shows, please check with Catering for details.
Footlights Restaurant is open from 5.00 pm on performance days until 11.00 pm and has full access for wheelchair users. Telephone 1792 478593 for reservations.
Our Rooftop Caf? Bar, with its spectacular terrace affording views across Swansea, is the ideal place for socialising. Our caterers can also prepare buffets for private hire and conference clients.
Call in for coffee at our Lavazza Coffee Shop - it's the perfect setting to meet with friends for a drink or a light meal. The menu include fresh Italian coffees, a variety of teas, baguettes, toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes with various fillings, cold drinks and fresh pastries. It is open from 11.00 am to 7.30 pm on performance days.
Access
The lift in the Arts Wing provides access to all floors of the theatre including the Grand Circle in the main auditorium. There is level access for wheelchair users into the stalls and also into the Footlights Bar. There are five positions available in the stalls for wheelchair users, so should you require one of these please inform box office when you book your tickets.
To enhance sound reception for the hearing impaired, the loop system is available and we provide sign language interpreted performances for certain shows. We also offer Audio Description facilities with some performances.
Please note that strobe lighting is used with certain shows and productions. Check with Box Office if this is of concern to you.
